Essentris® Enterprise GDR™
An advanced Global Data Repository (GDR) that is updated per transaction per encounter for all your patients. The Essentris GDR is an essential tool for tracking and querying longitudinal patient data for reporting and analytics. With Essentris Enterprise GDR, we deploy two GDRs for robust multi-site support.
- Primary GDR: serving an unlimited number of sites within an enterprise
- Backup GDR: an additional server which continuously backs up documentation of active patient encounters
Essentris® DOC™
In addition to the industry-leading high availability that has been part of every Essentris implementation for the past 26 years, CliniComp provides an additional architecture option for the ultimate level of patient encounter data protection. Essentris DOC is a critical ”Disaster Operational Continuity” enterprise fail-over solution available only from CliniComp. Our DOC deployment places an additional fully redundant server at a remote location from a site. This can be a secondary data center, medical facility, or any other location available via the WAN from a main data center. In the event of the loss of an entire site’s central computer, such as from a catastrophic failure caused by fire, flood, or other unplanned major outage, the redundant server continues full operations for all Essentris EMR activities with all the patient data. Once the main data center and servers are back on-line, the redundant server can be used to restore the data to the affected data center.
