Director, Compliance and Quality Assurance

The Director, Compliance & Quality Assurance manages and implements programs, policies, and practices to ensure compliance with HIPAA, FDA, OFCCP, and other applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Drives organizational compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. In addition, this position is responsible for assisting in the oversight of the overall corporate quality function including quality assurance, quality control, and, on a broader basis, total quality management throughout the organization. The position has responsibility for communicating the company compliance and quality programs to customers, partners, regulatory agencies and assisting in the development and implementation of employee communications and training programs in connection with the company's compliance and quality objectives, strategies, and processes

  • Must have knowledge of current federal and state privacy laws and regulatory requirements for healthcare EMR/medical device compliance policy and practices. Knowledge of and experience working in a global regulatory environment (USFDA, Europe EMEA, ISO 13485, etc). Ability to research, read, interpret, and execute on government regulations and legal documents.
  • Familiarity with medical device processes and accompanying GMP/QSR requirements.
  • Knowledgeable of healthcare EMR/medical device compliance concepts, practices, policies and procedures.
  • Knowledgeable in Quality Assurance principles, and utilizing metrics to monitor performance.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in managing compliance programs; experience working with quality assurance programs preferred; at least 3 years working with commercial software development organizations for healthcare environments. At least 3 years corporate experience working with federal and state regulatory agencies for healthcare EMR/medical device compliance.

Education & Related Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related area is required. Four years specifically related experience may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • Candidates must have the ability to obtain a DoD ADP clearance and a VA High Risk Background Investigation.


Help Desk Coordinator - 2nd Shift

As a member of the Applications Support Group (ASG), the Help Desk Coordinator is responsible for the telephone support of internal and external customers. The Help Desk Coordinator functions as part of a team composed of Systems Analysts that specialize in application software implementation, site sustainment, or help desk support, performing tasks related to the issues while coordinating with the efforts of the team.

  • A minimum of three years data entry experience is helpful. Minimum one year experience in telephone support and experience in dealing directly with customers.
  • One year working with PCs, laser-jet printers, scanners, facsimile machines, at least one computerized voice mail system, and common office equipment is required.

Education & Related Requirements

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field is preferred. An additional one year of directly related experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Candidates must have the ability to obtain a DoD ADP clearance and a VA High Risk Background Investigation.

Training is 7:30am - 4:30pm, after training the schedule will be 4:00pm - 12:30am.


Executive Assistant

Responsible for providing executive support to the Chief Executive Officer.

  • Ability to plan, coordinate and assist CEO on all matters related to his office.
  • Ability to provide CEO with project support. Research and gather facts, materials, resources, people, and organizations on various projects.
  • Write correspondence, respond to communications to CEO via e-mail, telephone and mail. Provide timely, clear, concise, detailed, and undistorted communications to others on behalf of the CEO; ensure proper receipt and understanding of information provided.
  • Ability to develop strong business relationships with all levels of organizations (internal and external). Ability to work professionally, effectively, sympathetically, and harmoniously with others. Must demonstrate excellent and effective customer service orientation.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills. Ability to craft solutions and gain commitment.
  • Responsible for preparing CEO for meetings, including researching, gathering data, organizing, and briefings.

Must have at least 7 years experience in progressively responsible position(s) supporting executives, including experience supporting C-level. Healthcare or legal industry experience, or military experience, is preferred. Excellent organizational skills; Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must have the proven ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with a wide range of people, including ability to direct, persuade, and influence, facilitate meetings, and to collaborate with others. Strong team member with excellent follow-through skills. Must demonstrate strong flexibility, adaptability and a composed, unflappable demeanor in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Creative Marketing Associate

The Creative Marketing Associate is responsible for executing all external and internal creative marketing and all related research with a hands-on approach. Associated responsibilities include supporting all sales, marketing and business development strategies and activities, including channels and distribution programs, downstream marketing, sales support, tradeshows, advertisements, website design and maintenance, press releases, user group meetings and other events, and company meetings.

Must have at least 5 years progressive experience in B2B marketing, with strong marketing design experience within the health care IT industry.

  • Strong knowledge of the health care industry and terminology used, and the clinical documentation and workflow needs of our target audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of the clinical and technology benefits of healthcare IT solutions.
  • Strong design sense in line with company aesthetic.
  • Ability to quickly become knowledgeable of key competitor solutions and CCI solutions, and their differences.
  • Strong knowledge of internet, technology and social media.
  • Strong knowledge in use of graphics programs, including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator and job specific software applications.
  • Knowledge of Flash and other marketing media tools.
  • Ability to source, assess, and manage vendors to meet project needs.
  • Strong technical writing skills that relate to the healthcare industry.

Application Support Group Manager

The Application Support Group (ASG) Manager is the department technical lead for a team of Systems Analysts that specialize in application software implementation, site sustainment, or Help Desk support. The ASG Manager performs tasks related to the issues and coordinating team efforts. This position is also directly responsible for overseeing the support of some of the larger, more comprehensive customer sites, or may be responsible for a larger number of customer sites.

  • Must have record of effective management and administrative skills required for functional area.
  • Experience with UNIX, Linux, and HP operating system software is helpful.
  • Knowledge of file editors (Vi or EMACS).
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a Systems Analyst role; experience in a supervisory role. At least 5 years experience in software support and experience in dealing directly with customers.

Education & Related Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related IT field is required. An additional 4 years specifically related experience may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

Systems Engineer I

The Systems Engineer I is responsible for supporting various types of hardware and software systems. The Systems Engineer I takes direction from Senior Systems Engineers and also works independently, displaying excellent reporting, technical, and communication skills, while developing expertise in two areas serviced by the Systems Engineering Group.

Technical knowledge and familiarity with the following equipment and applications is required:

  • 5 or more years of experience in UNIX, X-terminal, C, Perl, complex UNIX system administration, networking concepts, protocols, and hardware. Knowledge in Exchange servers, Windows, MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint is a plus.
  • 2 or more years of experience with network design and hardware.
  • 4 or more years combined experience with Linux and HP-UX operating systems. Knowledge of Exchange Server is a plus.
  • UNIX and PC-based information systems technologies, Windows servers and workstations.
  • Network interfaces, routing, and diagnostics
  • Modern office methods, procedures, and equipment including office automation hardware and software.

Education & Related Requirements

  • Associate degree in computer science, information systems or related field; Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field preferred. An additional 3 years of directly related experience will be accepted in lieu of an Associate's degree.

Software Engineer, VistA Programmer

The Software Engineer, VistA Programmer, is responsible for all VistA programming interface with CliniComp products and installation. VistA (Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture) is an enterprise-wide information system built around an Electronic Health Record (EHR) and is used throughout the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical system and is one of the most widely used EHR's in the world.

  • Set-up and install VistA.
  • Develop inbound and outbound HL7 (Health Level 7) interfaces.
  • Develop RPC and FileMan functions and routines.
  • On behalf of the Company, investigate and resolve matters related to VistA information system and programming.
  • Provide information, advice and recommendations to leadership on VistA information system and programming.
  • Perform other duties or changed duties as needed or directed.
  • Must be knowledgeable of VistA information systems; knowledgeable of VistA RPCs and what RPCs are utilized for CPRS Modules.
  • Knowledgeable of M or MUMPS language/database and the ability to integrate into mainstream, state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Knowledgeable of HL7 (Health Level 7) interface set-up and programming.
  • Knowledgeable of healthcare EMR/medical device systems from a software engineering programming perspective.
  • Able to quickly become knowledgeable with CCI products/services and to produce results based on this knowledge.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience MUMPS development experience. Also must have experience with installing and upgrading VistA systems on Linux, VistA RPC.s and FileMan silent calls to include troubleshooting RPC issues, and creating software that utilizes RPCs.
  • Experience with VistA Pharmacy system is preferred.

Project Manager

Provides consistent, timely, and effective support during the implementation of CliniComp, Intl. systems at client locations. Oversee and execute multiple high-priority projects that require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. Working with the customer sites and many internal groups the Project Manager creates a positive relationship by communicating any and all relevant issues either raised by the client or raised internally by CliniComp support teams that may affect a client. The successful planning, monitoring, and execution of internal and external projects are the goals of a Project Manager.

  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Project Manager.
  • Experience using project management skills to manage projects on-quality, on-time, and on-budget.
  • Experience in a job in the healthcare information technology market.
  • Experience in software support and experience in dealing directly with customers.
  • Experience with UNIX, Linux, and HP operating system software in a healthcare information setting is helpful.

Education & Related Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required. BS in computer science or related IT field is preferred. An additional 4 years of directly related experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is highly desired.

Senior Front End Web Developer

We are making groundbreaking strides in the EMR field every day and are looking for junior and senior level engineers to be a part of our success. If selected, you will play a key role on our Engineering team and have visible and immediate impact on product development.

  • Experience must include extending, modifying, and customizing components of ExtJS, YUI, or jQuery libraries.
  • Must have experience in web frameworks such as Struts 2, Kohana, or Code Igniter as well as experience with php.
  • Experience and proficiency with object oriented JavaScript, CSS/CSS3, HTML5 and experience with relational databases like MySQL, is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Apache server or tomcat and performance tuning of web servers is a plus, as well as design experience and a working knowledge of Photoshop for digital image assets.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in front-end web development using Web 2.0 technologies.

Candidates may be hired to the Associate, Mid or Senior level. A minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering is required for the associate level, a minimum of 5 years experience for the mid level and 7 years for a senior level.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field (MS or PhD a plus).

Software Engineer

We have an ongoing need for talented junior and senior level Software Engineers.  Come use your programming background in a client/server environment with C++ on UNIX to develop products that impact people’s lives in a meaningful way.  This position will draw on your previous experience providing full-cycle software design, implementation and testing as you work to develop clinical information software used in healthcare institutions to chart, review and analyze patient clinical data. 

Experience in software engineering should include programming in a client/server environment working with C++ on Unix. Experience in VC++, MFC, or .NET preferred and experience with relational database required. Additionally, candidates must possess working knowledge in at least two of the following areas:

  • Large software production environment
  • Writing software documentation
  • SQLite, mySQL or Oracle
